Ivory House Venue Consulting

Let’s get you bookings!

We work with independently owned boutique wedding venues that are underperforming by fixing pricing, positioning, and adding our secret strategy that makes you a credible venue. This is key — with credibility comes more wedding bookings.

Why beautiful venues sit empty

01

Pricing that says nothing

Rates are set by looking at the venue down the road. Nothing in the pricing tells a buyer what makes this space different — so the decision defaults to whoever is cheapest.

02

No real booking funnel

Inquiries land in a personal inbox, get answered in three days, and go cold. There is no defined path from first contact to tour to signed contract, so conversion is left to chance.

03

No operator bandwidth

The owner is doing sales, tours, contracts, vendor management, and event night — all of it. Growth work never happens because there is no one left to do it.

Services

Two tracks: project-based consulting to fix the model, and ongoing management to operate it.

Consulting — project based

Venue Audit

2–3 weeks

A full diagnostic of pricing, positioning, inquiry handling, and event operations, delivered as a written report with prioritized recommendations.

$3,500 – $7,500

Turnaround Blueprint

6–8 weeks

A rebuild of the commercial model: repositioning, tiered pricing and packages, sales process, vendor structure, and a staged implementation plan.

$15,000 – $30,000

Revenue Optimization Sprint

4 weeks

A focused engagement on the levers that move revenue fastest — rate structure, minimums, calendar yield, add-ons, and inquiry-to-tour conversion.

$8,000 – $15,000

Management — ongoing

Fractional Events Director

Monthly retainer

Senior operating leadership without a full-time hire. Owns sales pipeline, pricing discipline, vendor standards, and event execution oversight.

$4,000 – $10,000 / mo

Full Outsourced Management

Ongoing partnership

We run the events business end to end — bookings, staffing, vendors, and event delivery — while ownership stays focused on the asset.

15–25% of events revenue

How we work

It always starts with a real conversation — never a cold sales pitch.

  1. 1

    The Conversation

A free call, no cost and no pitch. We talk about how bookings have actually been going, what you have tried, and where the pressure is.

  2. 2

    The In-Person Assessment

If it looks like a fit, we walk the property together — also free. Seeing the space, the flow, and the operation in person is the only way to be accurate.

  3. 3

    The Assessment Report

You receive a written read on what is holding the venue back, and a scoped proposal for the work that would fix it. No obligation to continue.

  4. 4

    The Work

We execute the engagement — audit, blueprint, or sprint — with clear deliverables, timelines, and a single point of accountability.

  5. 5

    The Handoff or Ongoing Partnership

Either we hand the systems to your team with documentation and training, or we stay on to operate them as your fractional or outsourced team.

About

Linda Rossi

Founder & Principal Consultant

Linda Rossi founded Ivory House Venue Consulting after years of running weddings and events on the vendor and planning side of the industry — coordinating with venues, negotiating with owners, and seeing firsthand which properties booked out and which sat empty, regardless of how beautiful the space was. With experience in the events industry since 2012, she has planned and executed over 1,000 events.

That pattern became the foundation of Ivory House’s venue consulting practice: helping independent, owner-operated venues fix pricing, positioning, and credibility — the three things that turn a quiet venue into a booked one. Without the corporate backing franchise venues rely on, credibility is your strongest sales tool.

Focus Areas

  • Venue audits and turnaround strategy for underperforming boutique venues
  • Pricing and package design for events, weddings, and private bookings
  • Credibility strategy that turns inquiries into signed contracts
  • Booking funnel and inquiry-to-contract process design
  • Vendor and preferred-partner ecosystem development
  • Fractional and full outsourced events management

Background

Linda is also the founder of Ivory House Co., a full-service wedding planning and coordination practice serving couples nationally and internationally — full planning, day-of coordination, and destination weddings across venues ranging from private estates to vineyard properties to heritage sites. That work put her on the ground with venue operations, vendor negotiation, and event-day execution firsthand — the same operational realities this consulting practice now helps venue owners navigate.

Approach

Every engagement starts with a conversation, not a pitch. Ivory House works alongside venue owners — never posing as prospective clients or using deceptive tactics — because credibility in a tight-knit local vendor network is the foundation everything else is built on.

Start a consulting conversation

The first call is free, and if it’s a fit, so is the in-person walkthrough. Tell us about the venue and we’ll be in touch.

A free call, then a free visit.

No obligation and no pitch — a straight conversation about how the venue is booking, and an in-person assessment if the fit is right.
